Netrunr Edge Server

Description

The Netrunr Edge Server (NES) is designed to provide connectivity, compute and storage functionality for your IoT network deployments. The NES architecture is optimised to support large scale data networking functions. A quad-core x86-64bit processor is directly connected to three gigabit ethernet ports, providing easy access to additional external storage, compute and networking resources. The default NES configuration has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. NES also provides two mini-PCI Express (PCI-e) slots (with dual SIM card capability) to add 4G-LTE modems or LoRa modems. An internal SATA and SD Card slot is provided for additional internal storage.

Netrunr Edge server uses Debian 9 LTS by default. It also supports other Linux distributions like Ubuntu, CentOS and Yocto. NES supports full customization by the end-user.

Axiomware provides custom applications to provision and control Netrunr B24C, P24C and E24 gateways. In addition to these applications, customers also run standard applications like firewall, radius server, Wi-Fi access point (hostapd), cloud agents and database applications. In a typical application, a single NES is used to manage multiple Netrunr gateways and funnel upstream data through WAN or 4G-LTE connection.

Axiomware provides a powerful API for gateway management, device discovery, addressing, control and data transfer. With this architecture, you can create powerful, cloud enabled applications that can seamlessly work with cloud, smart-phones and third-party services. By using our open API, SDK and code samples in our Github repository, you can get started with minimal effort.
