The Netrunr B24C Bluetooth gateway provides an easy and cost-effective path to deploy low-power wireless networks. The Netrunr B24C gateways use the popular Bluetooth Low Energy protocol for IoT device connectivity. In a typical application scenario, the Netrunr B24C gateway is configured as a Bluetooth central device. In this mode, it can maintain multiple concurrent connections with Bluetooth peripherals and run background scan for Bluetooth advertisements. The Netrunr B24C gateway connects to the existing network (backhaul) through Wi-Fi or LAN connection. The B24C gateway uses a cloud-centric architecture to provide an internet-level addressing capability to the gateway and all the devices attached to it. This architecture enables deploying a scalable network across large sites and campuses with superior control and insight into the operations of the network.
