The Axiomware Netrunr B24C gateway provides an easy and cost effective way to deploy low power wireless networks. The Netrunr B24C uses Bluetooth LE protocol for device connection and provides the Bluetooth central functionality. The sophisticated Bluetooth controller in the gateway supports multiple concurrent connections, background scan and reception of Bluetooth advertisements. The Netrunr B24C gateway connects to the existing network (backhaul) through Wi-Fi or LAN connection. The B24C gateway uses a cloud-centric architecture to provide an internet-level addressing capability to the gateway and all the devices attached to it. This architecture is recommended when the gateway is located behind the firewall, does not have a DNS resolvable IP address and access over internet and intranet is required.
